By train

The nearest major city, and train station, is in Newcastle Upon Tyne. There are also coach services that run to here - the coach station is right next to the train station, with loads of great value accommodation next to the station! Le Petit Chateau is just under an hours drive from Newcastle.

There are some local bus services available that can be explored further here. The nearest bus station to the venue is Percy Arms (Otterburn) - though do bear in mind these will be unlikely to still be running when the curtains close on the evening!

By car

Our recommended mode of transport and the easiest way to travel out to the beautiful countryside where our venue is based (though we do appreciate this is not a local venue for any of you!).

There is onsite parking available at the venue and in the surrounding town. Much of the nearby accommodation is in walking distance too with many of the sites offering parking, so that can safely park your car for the day and then you'll just have a short stagger home at the end of what hopes to be a very good night!

 We strongly advise that any taxis are pre-booked ahead of time - to ensure you are there for the whole ceremony and collected safely at the end of the evening with as little fuss as possible! Some options of local taxi companies that come recommended by our venue are -
